The electric lady, Janelle Monae gave The Ritz a show they’ll never forget last night. The futuristic star has been giving the world soulful-feels and tender vibes on her Dirty Computer Tour. There was a sold out show of “dirty computers” unapologetically singing and dancing through the night.
Janelle comes to the stage in vibrant colors with her female dancers to match. She gave us the formal looks with bold prints and her famous vagina pants from the “Pynk” visual. Janelle dresses to express and we could all take notes from that.

She starts her set off with her latest album, ‘Dirty Computer.’ She also performed her classics “Electric lady,” “Q.U.E.E.N,” and “Yoga.” We were blessed with the evolution of Janelle Monae within a couple of hours.
Monae, who publicly came out as queer in an interview with Rolling Stone in May, wished the audience a “Happy Pride.” She truly embraced that “love is love”.
Janelle Monae gave us love, Afro-futuristic feels, soul and a safe space to have fun. The electric lady has no shame in her blackness and queerness.
