Maroon 5 gave the fans a revamped version of “Girls Like You” featuring Cardi B. It was a rumor surfacing about a collaboration with Bronx rapper, but it was confirmed Wednesday.
Cardi B brings her Bronx flavor and swag into the song as she ends it with the last verse. She starts off with “Not too long ago, I was dancing for dollars/know it’s really real if I let you meet my mama/You don’t want a girl like me, I’m too crazy/
but every other girl you meet is fugazy/I’m sure them other girls were nice enough/
But you need someone to spice it up.”
The video also features cameo’s from Olympians, Actresses, Youtubers, Writers, Supermodels etc. As the video literally goes full circle you’ll see Millie Bobbie Brown, Camilla Cabello, Jennifer Lopez, Lily Singh, Gal Gadot, Tiffany Haddish, Mary J. Blige, Ashley Graham and more! You’ll also catch Adam Levine wife Behati Prinsloo and beautiful daughter making a cameo in the end.
Maroon 5 certainly brings this song back to life with a simple, but loving visual and adding Cardi B to the record.
