G.O.O.D Music CEO, Pusha T stops by Beats1 Radio discussing 7-track albums, Teyana Taylor and Kanye West.
In the new Interview, Pusha talks with Beats 1 Julie Adenuga. He talks about how he found out about West’s idea of 52-records in 52 weeks when we did.
T also spills how he received a couple of calls from G.O.O. D first lady Teyana Taylor. He goes to say Teyana has “demo-itis.” Push explains this is when you make a record and begin to love the record as it is. Then someone ends up adding parts to the record. “You know, Ye may add a sound or three or add a sample or things that change the dynamic…. in her mind.” He does go to say that Taylor is very passionate and knows what she wants. I can definitely respect that! Also, see the hilarious portrayal of Teyana Taylor that Push does during the interview.
Daytona creator explains how he’s still competitive in the rap game. “Who is putting out a DAYTONA 16 years into their career,. When it comes to street lyric driven hip hop, I don’t believe anybody in this world can give you what ima give you. As Far as the streets go.” Push also feels he has rap album of the year.
