Tiffany Haddish opens up about sexual assault in her new cover story with Glamour.
She never strays away from discussing being a foster kid and many obstacles that came along. Now she gives us more insight on the effect that the rape had on her
She was only 17 when the police cadet sexually assaulted her. Also, she speaks on it during a The Champs podcast, it happened to her homecoming night.
“That whole experience put me in such a messed-up place for a long time, and I ended up going to counseling,” she said, adding, “Me just yelling out people’s names with no thought behind it is pointless. I need a plan. I could be a voice, but what’s a voice going to do — just keep talking? Or is there action behind it?”
She says during the interview that the cadet lied about his age and wanted to hook her up with his younger brother.
Tiffany says she went to the man’s place and saw his police uniform and handcuffs. Next thing you know, Tiff says “I’ve got one arm up in the handcuff, and he’s got me pinned down.”
